Photoshop:When I started this class, I barely knew how to operate a camera and usually took pictures on my phone. Throughout the trimester, I learned how to use a camera properly, even in manual mode. I learned how to operate the aperture and shutter. The two pictures below are a comparison of what I think is my best and worst picture. I think that I improved a lot over the trimester.
These are some more good pictures that I took in this class. I learned a lot in this class and I hope that I can later use this knowledge, to take better pictures in the future.I can say that I feel confidant in my photoshop skills and I can tell I have grown as a photographer!

Description: we had to choose two words, then find pictures on the internet and then put it all together. My two words are thalassophile( a lover of the ocean) and nubivagant(wandering in the clouds; moving through the air) What I learned: I think the hardest part of this was to come up with a word.
Description: We had to make three puns by using photoshop to put images from the internet together. Good luck figuring out what they mean:) What I learned: I got a little more comfortable with photoshop and I worked n my creativity. If you don't know what they mean the first one is "counterclockwise", the second one "copycat" and the third one "butterfly". I really enjoyed this assignment and I think this was probably the my favorite photoshop assignment.
Description: For this assignment I took pictures of different things that could potentially look good as black and white. What I learned: I learned that things with a a lot of detail like humans, tend to look better as black and white and also photos, that have different shades and values tend to look better.
Description: For this assignment we had to take two portrait pictures.One studio and one non studio. After that we had to Photoshop them on a black background. What I learned: How to take portrait pictures so they look nice and how to photoshop them into this format which I'm going to use for my final.
,Description: For this assignment we had to take pictures of something and I decided to take pictures of food. I went to Zingermans and took pictures of my coffee and doughnut, because I think it looks pretty. What I learned: I learned how to take pictures at interesting angles, how to play with the light so it would look appealing and how to make the food(or drink) look mouthwatering.
Description: I tried to come up with my own because i wanted to do something different so basically what I did is I wanted to blend it the background with the actual background but make the person stick out. What I learned: how to come up with a photoshop assignment. I got the idea from the blending one but then changed it up a bit.
Description: For this assignment we had to take a picture of something and I choose to take a picture of nature. I went to a park were my brother had his cross country race at because they have beautiful trees there and I took the rest of them at my house. What I learned: How to capture trees and how to set the camera to make the best possibal landscape pictures.
